Valentine's Day Gift To Remember

One of my favorite Valentine's Day memories has me standing beside the table at our candle-lit dinner for two, holding my hair up while my man fastens a shimmering gold necklace around my neck.

There's something completely romantic about having him choose a beautiful gift that I can wear, then lavishing attention on me while he helps me put it on. And adoring how spectacular we looked together (me and the jewelry... or me and him? Mmmmmmaybe a little bit of both... )

Because that's what I want my Valentine's Day to be. Romantic, make me feel special and beautiful, like all eyes are on me and I'm worth a million bucks. I just love to be spoiled with jewelry, and a presentation like that means I'll remember that necklace forever.

Now every time I wear it, I think of his fingers brushing the back of my neck, ever so lightly. Even the gorgeous crystals, rich passionate coloring that you'd never see in a diamond.
